Meet Emily

Emily Westmoreland lives in the suburbs of Atlanta with her husband and three daughters. She has a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a master's in media. In the past 10 years, she has worked as a teacher, STEM Coordinator, librarian, small business owner, and now, an author. Emily is passionate about sharing the gospel with children and encouraging parents to teach the scriptures through play. When she's not homeschooling her children or creating play-dough kits with biblical themes, she enjoys RVing with her family and exploring Georgia's state parks.

Passion for STEM

From 2015-2020, Emily worked as a STEM Coordinator at a local elementary school. She led the school to become the first and only state STEM Certified school among 51 others in her district. Emily witnessed how STEM improved students' critical thinking, collaboration, and teacher-student relationships. In 2018, after the birth of her third daughter, Emily shifted to consulting and discovered her desire to merge STEM and her faith in Jesus.
